After abruptly ditching a corporate job in 1999, I kicked around trying various trades for a couple years, eventually settling on carpentry and woodworking. I am entirely self taught; I’ve never been employed in anyone else’s woodworking shop. As of 2023 I have built around 3000 pieces of artisan furniture!

I love being able to take old things and give them a new life. I create custom furniture, mantles, accent walls, barn doors, and even do barn demos.

After studying sculpture and receiving my BFA, I opened Troy Brook Visions, Makers of Fine Furniture. Since 1993 I have been collaborating with private clients to design and create fine, functional art furniture for their homes and offices. In 2016 I began designing a line of wooden utensils, serveware, cheese and display boards and trays.
