Bantam River Arts District, Bantam CT

Alain White Field on Route 209 near Bantam Lake is the place to be May 15.

It’s the opening day of the 2026 season for the Bantam Community Farmers Market, with extended hours from 1 to 6 p.m., and there’s also a celebration of the new Bantam River Arts District after the Bantam was recognized as a designated cultural district by the Connecticut Arts Council.

There will be lots of great farm and food vendors, live music by Eran Troy Danner, artists, crafts, guest speakers, and more.

Note that regular hours for the farmers market are 3-6 each Friday and the 2026 vendors can be found here: https://bantamcommunityfarmersmarket.mailchimpsites.com
